Every once in a while I feel a sort of rippling feeling like something is running through a part of my leg. Since it only happened infrequently I didn't pay too much attention to it.
However, tonight, every few seconds it was rippling through the top of my left thigh.
Is this the sign of clots trying to make it through your veins and perhaps the vein is partially clogged?
This is the way it feels anyway.
Any thoughts?
I'm worried it could be some sort of thrombosis or phlebitis and that my blood is clotting which can be dangerous. Its just a muscle contracting and relaxing...like an eye tic that you can sometimes get but in another part of the body. Clots are generally very painful and you would know about it! This is not a blood clot or a vein. It is a benign fasciculation in the muscle. As it is infreqent it is nothing to worry about.
