It's a genetic disorder that is controlled by diet. There is a deficiency in amino acid and pku, problems with brain developement which can cause retardation and seizures, You must eliminate meats, chicken, fish, nuts, cheese and dairy, apsaratame, potatoes, bread and pasta. Good luck, this is all I know.
