Hodgkin's disease, did it begin with the use of dangerous pesticides?? |
I've read that pesticides have a strong link to Hodgkin's disease and lymphoma. U'r right, and also viral infection, dust exposure, other toxic agent I am not sure exactly. But my Mom had it & blamed the hair dye at her beauty salon. It is widely held that Hodgkin's disease may start as an inflammatory or infectious process and then become a neoplasm; according to another theory it may be an immune disorder. Clusters of cases have been reported but there is no conclusive evidence of a causative infectious agent, and the etiology of the disease remains an enigma |
