Three days ago i used some pesticides in the garden, i wore a mask when but i feel chest pain?

and also i have breathing problems .do u think it is related to the use of pesticides. can they affect me so much with so little use of them

Unless you were spraying malathion off the back of a garden tractor, the small amount used wouldn't hurt. Did you take a shower afterwards and wash the clothes if you got any on your skin or clothing? It sounds more like anxiety.

If you don't feel better in a day, make an appointment with your doctor since it is probably something else.

Look at the type of pesticide you sprayed and then call poison control. The phone number should be on the back of the bottle. You are probably fine unless you dowsed yourself, but there are some fairly toxic pesticides in existance. Poison control is your best bet and make sure you have the bottle with you so you can tell them what you did and what you sprayed.

Next time, I'd use something from this website from the University of California, Davis. If you don't live in CA, it might not be as accurate, but you can type in "Integrated Pest Management" and find a bunch of low or non toxic alternatives to pesticides.
