Is eating non-organic produce really bad for you?

I know that organic produce and meat is not treated with pesticides or fertilizers, and I know that this makes them healthier for you than non organic food. However, for those of us who can't afford organic produce or don't live in the vicinity of a grocery store that sells organic produce, are we killing ourselves by eating fruits, vegetables and meat that are non-organic? Do the health benefits of apples and oranges outweigh the risks of ingesting some residual pesticides? If not, should people who can't obtain organic food just not eat fruits and vegetables for fear that the pesticides are harming them more than the health benefits of the fruits and vegetables?

Locally grown is best as it will be the freshest and that is the name of the game with produce. Both organic and conventional produce shipped thousands of miles will have lost most of their nutrients by the time they reach the store shelves because of the time spent in transit/warehouses.

If you cannot find organic than by all means conventionally grown produce as it is better for you than not eating it . And what would be you alternative? Eating GMO packed processed foods which are always going to be a lot less healthy than any fresh piece of produce.

You can wash your produce in warm soapy water and than rinse it before eating to remove some of the chemical residues

This is right out of a doctor's mouth that I'm quoting " You don't need to buy organic. It's just a waste unless you are eating the skin. If you are peeling it then it makes no difference. "

do you really care man?...c`mon u dont care.....yummy....
