How protect dog from ticks without using pesticide or other detrimental products? |
We live in Southern Calif foothills adjacent to lots of wild life, including deer, and a lot of vegetation. You could try feeding your dog brewer's yeast tablets. It works for keeping fleas away and might work for ticks as well. Neem oil. Get it on ebay. Completely natural. Great for kids with headlice too! You could try using the shampoo to prevent fleas, but I'm not sure how well these work. you have to use a dog soap, it is effective, use it when your dog takes a bath, or flea powder. ;) |
