How does Bordetella Pertussis infect and attack our cells?

I am not sure what you mean by attack our cells. Bordetella Pertussis is a bacteria that infects the upper respiratory system. When an infected person sneezes or coughs, tiny droplets containing the bacteria move through the air. If some else breaths in the bacteria they find a home in the persons lungs. The mucus in the lungs provides a great place for this bacteria to grow. Once established Bordetella Pertussis multiplies quickly spreading through the respiratory system causing whooping cough.
