Can I travel overseas without a pertussis vaccination?

I had a seizure from the first dose, and couldn't continue. Could I go somewhere like Kenya, Jamaica, Togo, etc?

Also, I have asthma so I believe that if I did contract pertussis, it would be more serious of a matter. Is it too risky?

You could- I don't think these countries ask for a vaccination certificate and pertussis is quite rare (and not actually all THAT bad if you contract it). I went on a 6 month round the world trip to Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos and then later to India all without getting a diptheria vaccine because at the time there was a shortage of them in the UK unless they were mixed in with tetanus which I had had a bad reaction to.
