Anyone know about whooping cough? |
Hi... I took my children to the pediatrician yesterday and she said she thinks they have Whooping Cough (Pertussis)... and is treating them all as such. Thing is, they all three had the DTaP vaccine and so shouldn't be able to catch this... has anyone else had experience with this? I'm just thinking if the vaccine didn't protect them, why in the world did I let them put it in their system?! Assuming you are in the US For all your medical answers: http://www.webmd.com that is weird. ask your doctor, but i've heard of a lot of kids coming down with it lately. |
