Peritoneal Dialysis?

my family recently decided to stop my eldery ailing grandmothers peritoneal dialysis. I am afraid she will suffer.

Are they putting her on hemo? If not, she will not be able to get the toxins out.

I am so sorry, I wish I could say more to help you. I cannot as my Dad died from renal failure and my daughter is on hemo at the moment. I am too close to this to be of help to you!

Know this, I will be praying for her and for you too! God bless you both!

Do you know why the family made this decision? It may be that PD has stopped working for her.

You are afraid she will suffer but, my friend, she probably already is suffering.

You haven't really posed a question here so I don't know what it is you're looking for but I suggest you get all the facts from your family before you post a question.
