What are the 4 stages of periodontal disease?


please explain the 4 stages of periodontal disease...

Gingivitis-the gums are red, puffy, bleed easily, noticeable plaque at gum-line
Mild Periodontal Disease- gingivitis plus gums starting to pocket 2-5 mm
Moderate Periodontal Disease- Pockets are 5mm and above with noticeable bone loss, possibly mobile teeth,perio abscesses common
Advanced Periodontal Disease- Severe Bone-loss, severe mobility in anterior teeth especially, prone to perio abscess and eventual tooth loss

Gingivitis
Mild Periodontitis
Moderate Periodontitis
Advanced Periodontitis
