How serious is periodontal disease and what is the cost to correct it? |
Lajolla dentist wants US800 to correct this problem. Too much? Ooops. It's serious and it's expensive, but you should be treated by a Periodontist or if your condition is moderate then you could see a Dental Hygienist. It is a very serious disease, it destroys the bone that holds your teeth in your head untreated you are on a road to wearing dentures. It is manageable disease not curable so you do have to spend money to keep it under control. But well worth it to keep your teeth. |
