I have periodontal disease,scared to find out what will happen. Anyone been through this,what will happen?


I probably need dentures after surgery. Do they put you under? How painful is it?

I have it .They will scrape the roots of your gums and clean your teeth this is usually done in 3 or 4 sessions and your gums will feel so much better after they do this also if you do this you shouldn't need dentures unless your teeth are rotten I have healthy teth but diceased gums and they done my work over a yr. ago.They don't need to put you out but I sugest they give you a numming shot and you won't even know what they are doing because you can't feel it when they do that If you need this done best get to it or you won't have any teeth and this could eat your gums
