What is periodontal disease? Periodontal disease is caused by bacteria that depleats the bone level in your jaw. Smoking and not brushing regularly will cause this. There is also a theory that genetics may be involved. a disease in your gums! Yep. It's gum disease. brush more often, including your gums, use a soft bristle brush. It is when your mouth's environment is all out of wack! causing all kinds of problems from bleeding gums to loose teeth to receding gums. Gingivitis is a leading contributor of bad breath, and by eliminating the bacteria in your mouth that causes gingivitis and periodontal disease, you can stop bad breath too! Gingivitis is the inflammation of gums due to plaque accumulation both above and below the gums. The gums will become red, inflamed, and bleed upon brushing. Periodontitist is loss of bone that surrounds the tooth and helps support the teeth. The teeth can become mobile and the bite may feel different. Gingivits can be reversed with the proper home care. Periodontitis is not reversible. Once the bone is damaged, no more will be formed to replace it. It is the infection of gums. Your gums become infected because lack of care or health problems. This problem can become so severe that u can lose your teeth and it can affect your health. It can affect your heart. It's better to take good care of your mouth so this will not happen. With regular check ups, teeth cleaning and home care. |
