How to gain energy to exercise during perimenopause? |
I am 31 and have been going thru perimenopause for going on 4 years. I know the way to keep from gaining weight is thru exercise. I use to be able to exercise fairly regularly. Now I have a really hard time getting the energy to do it. Is there any way to help get more energy? Be sure to get enough sleep. Eat a healthy diet. Try to stay away from caffiene and sugar. These will give you a rush of energy, but then you'll feel more tired once the effects wear off. And, exercise will give you more energy, if you can force yourself to do it. Try telling yourself that you'll do just 10 minutes. Once you start, you'll likely end up doing more than that and feel better. |
