Can it be something other than perimenopause? |
I seem to show symptoms of perimenopause. But I refuse to believe that may be happening to me. Okay, I may get woken up in the middle of the night with what seems to be hot flashes, that seems to happen either now, during my period, or just after. And okay, there might be some vaginal dryness at times, but that says more about the sex life than anything else. Thanks for all the replies so far. Much appreciated. You definately need to go get a pap. There are other things that can occur and have the same symptoms of menopause. I know that a while back there was a warning to all women on the news about Ovarian Cancer- The silent killer. Please go get checked by a OBGYN. Good Luck! how old are you.? have you check your thyroid? maybe you need to for a physical It could be other medical problems. You didn't mention your age, although the age of onset of menopause differs greatly, most healthy women with normal period onset as a girl can start that perimeno period in their late 30s or early 40s. I am sorry to hear you have not been feeling well. I went thru menapause when I was 45. I only had night sweats in the perimenapausal stage. I think you should consult your doctor about this, being you have gastroenteritus also. |
