I am in perimenopause, why am i lactating?

I am in perimenopause, why am i lactating?

I can think two reasons. First it may be a Prolactinoma. This is the most common tumor of the pituitary gland. It causes secretion of prolactin that will cause lactation. Or nipple discharge can be a sign of breast cancer. Either way you need to be evaluated.
