Anyone going through perimenopause that has found a way to alleviate the depression and moodiness?

Anyone going through perimenopause that has found a way to alleviate the depression and moodiness?

Natural progesterone has been a life-saver for me! It has evened out my "moods", and I've been able to [almost] get off my anti-depressant.

Vitamins also help - B6 especially. Also copper, zinc, magnesium, and calcium are important to hormonal balance.

Perimenopause brings about an estrogen dominance problem. Do everything you can to limit your exposure and intake of estrogens, and it should help.

I'm going through this too myself and I take St John's Wort. You can get it at any HealthFood Store. I first started taking it for PMS as I found Evening Primrose did not help me.
