What should be done to avoid from getting weigh during the perimenopause period?

The only thing that will help during this period of time in your life is going to be eat healthy and exercise regularly.

Hormone replacements are going to cause weight gain so this is where the eating healthy and exercise come in.
You will probably still go through the night sweats, mood swings and all that good stuff regardless if you take the meds or not.
Your best bet is to take a natural herb instead of the prescription medications that they give.
