Can anyone help me with formulating goals for an exercise program? |
i am 48 years old, 5ft9 currently weigh 175lbs, i have gained 10lbs in the past two years, my family has a history of diabetes and cancer, and i think im going through perimenopause. please can anyone help me! thanks hi :) am not sure whats available in the markets...but, this is what i did to lose weight... PLEASE DONT TAKE PILLS... pills are nothing but anorectic agents... they make you feel less hungry... there is no way to loose weight fast... though , sauna , steam and massages help slightly... it has to be combined with diet and excercise... pills are very bad in the long run... can lead to impotency and infertility... good luck and thanks for picking my answer as the best answer :) Report It First of all...start from the end. Consider where you want to end up...and work backwards... Try doing the exercises in this test and measuring yourself against the levels indicated therein. Then you can see which areas to improve upon. well just recently i found that by walking just 30 to45 min. a day can help to shed some pounds i lost 15lbs in two weeks.i also cut off certain things like condiments, mayo, salad dressings for vinaigrette, and cheese to just cutting those things have helped me and did wonders I'm still doing it and getting results. I strongly recommend you consult a physician before you begin any unaccustomed physical activity. Exercise will definitely help you, but you need to start out slowly. After your visit to the doctor for his/her recommendations, I suggest you join a females only exercise club, such as Curves. This is a much more relaxing atmosphere than the usual gym environment, and the sessions are supervised. Go to www.bodyforlife.com . |
