Hi ladies. I just want to ask on here about premenopause. I am 38 and will be 39 very soon?

and my periods are all over the place. Like for eg my last period was the 24th of December last year, and they are not regular anymore, so is it normal to go through perimenopause at my age? My mother stoped her periods for good when she was 34. I am more than likely battling a life threatning illness at the moment called cancer of the bladder, but I do not think that this has anything to do with my very irregular periods. Could you advise me if you are mature. Thank you, and unless you are a doctor no male responses please

Since your mother went through the menopause at an early age it is very likely you will also. This is probably what you're experiencing and it most likely has nothing to do with your suspected? bladder cancer. In any case, you can ask for a blood test which can confirm you're reaching menopause by high FSH levels.
