Do i have to be concerned?

I am 51yr i have a brownish stringy sort of small lumpy discharge,,,any ideas what this is,,,i am going thru perimenopause. is this normal. i can't see a doctor,,no medical! need some advice,Thx.

it sounds like you may have some sort of bacterial infection...vagisil has come out with a vaginal screening kit to test for this sort of thing. you can get them at any drug stor...pick one up just to check, then you might be able to find out what it is and you may be able to treat it on your own.

It probably is normal--look up in mayoclinic.com-they have all kinds of really good informative information on all kinds of different health subjects for both men and women. I use it as a reference all the time. Good luck!
