Should Prozac be considered a performance enhancing drug?

In most cases it is prescribed without additional therapy. By many, it seems to be a cure all, instead of being used as a tool.

Let me spell t out for you...performance enhancing refers to performance in life, not sex (grow up). My point is that Prozac is taken with the same casualness as steroids.

It certainly didn't improve my performance when I took it; it did however reduce my clinical depression.

well, of course it is prescribed without additional therapy. people take such medications without thinking that they need therapy...just take a pill and all the world's problems will go away. this is, of course, a load of hooey. no SSRI/MAO/etc medication will work without seeking some other help.

No not if its "performance" pertaining to sex. It can decrease the sex drive.
