Peptic ulcer complications? |
has anyone had complications with a peptic ulcer, like bleeding or a hole forming in the stomach wall...if so what were the symptoms like? Not fun! It feels as if my stomach was burning all the time. I would eat and or drink milk to ease the pain. However, that crappy feeling always came back. I was hunched over all the time and would sometimes punch my stomach to try and stop the pain. Nothing worked. Until I finally went to the doctor and he prescribed for me some medicine. Zantac or pepcid if your case is mild. Nexium if your case is severe. If you are in more serious trouble, surgery would be your next bet. However, I don't think you'd be posting this if you were in that much trouble. My guess is Nexium or other similar brands should cure you. |
