Olive Oil , aid against Peptic Ulcer?

I just recently started having stomach problems due to alcoholism, I'm beginning to think its a peptic ulcer, also I have started trying EVOO as a cure, what do you guys know about this? I'm also into Slippery Elm bark, Ginger, and Chamomile tea and Yarrow tea I could use any suggestions, please...I am waiting for our late winter to clear up so I can harvest some Devil's Club also here in Alaska

EVOO is good for a lot of things but what you need is Black licorice or DGL (a special kind of black licorice and better for anyone who has high blood pressure.)
Chewed in a tablet form it combines w/saliva it's a powerful healer of all kinds of ulcers.

For alcholism some people have luck with GABA or GLA supplements helping them to curb the cravings.

Best of luck for both issues.

Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil will help and no dairy.

I think a good aid to you would be taking baking soda in water. Probably about 1/4 teaspoon in a glass of water 3x a day on an empty stomach. (The baking soda will reduce your stomach acid) this will help you not only reduce the pain from the ulcer, but also to reduce the acidity of your body. also, alcohol does dehydrate you, so make sure to drink plenty of water. Even water with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and sugar in it. Organic varieties if you can, since they have more beneficial nutrients in them. Water with water and sugar in it will do the same thing as sports drinks without all the artificial sugars.
