Has anyone here ever had a Peptic Ulcer? |
It's the only thing that I can think that is wrong with me. I get hungry and when I eat my stomach hurts and burns for hours. I also have bad heartburn. Has anyone else experience this? How long did you wait before going to the Dr.? I've had this problem for almost 4 days now and I don't know if I should wait or just go. I had a peptic ulcer years ago. I went to the doctor within the first week of having the same symptoms as you. I had to go to the x-ray department for an upper G.I. & drink a special cocktail. It confirmed an ulcer. My doctor put me on a bland diet for a while, & I had to take Tagamet also. Eventually, I got to eat a diet as tolerated, & in time, the ulcer healed. That was years ago & I haven't had any trouble since then. See your doctor as soon as possible! |
