What is the reason for peptic ulcer?

need the reason and solutions

It seems that it is most likely caused by an infection by a bacterium called Helicobacter pylori. They can also be caused or made worse by drugs like asprin and other Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

For the case of the bacterium, the chronic inflamation is because of the infection of the bacterium in the antral mucosa. The bodies immune system unable to remove the infection despite the presence of antibodies. This persistence allows the bacterium to cause chronic active gastritis and inturn increasing the gastrin secretion. The gastrin stimulates the production of gastric acid and this acid erodes mucosa and is the cause of the ulcer.

For the case of NSAIDs
NSAIDs block the function of an enzyme which is essential for the secretion of mucus which protects the gastric mucosa.

Apparently those in the know have decided the cause for this is a bacteria called H.Pylorus 80% of the time. You would need a test for this, I think you can have a blood test. Hope this helps.

The reason is a bacteria called helicobacter pylori (or H- Pylori) Up to 3/4 of the population i have heard will have some trace of this bacteria in their system by the age of 50. Most people will never have symptoms though so will never know it. You can be tested for it by blood, saliva, endoscopy(camera into stomach),stool specimen or the newest test in breathing through a tube thing that will show either negative or poitive result. Treatment is antibiotics(2 different ones) amoxicillin/clarithromycin and a proton pump inhibitor(PPI) such as Somac or Pariet- twice a day for 7 days. PPI's are basically just reduce acid contnt in the stomach.
