Aloha

Actually alot of Pepetic ulcers are caused by a bacteria H. Pylori which respond to antibiotic treatment. Go see a specialist (gastroenterologist) who can do the proper work-up and testing.
Good luck.

Yes, you can take omeprezole or ranitidine. There are many productson the market these days.

I have one too, and I really don't think that there are any permanent cures. I have just been prescribed different medications like Pariot, Zantac and quite a few other too.

If you stay away from spicy or really salty foods and sodas your symptoms should ease dramatically like mine did.
It really sucks having one and can be really painful, I hope this helps you.

Not currently. Drug thearpy offers the most cost-effective treatment for all ulcers with the option of surgery. Currently medication and diet is the only road for a cure for peptic ulcers and other ulcers.
