Ulcer question?

i think i have a peptic ulcer, will it go away by itself or should i go to the doctor? im only 17! help

first of all you must see a doc to estimate your case mild moderate or severe is it just gastritis or GE RD or ulcer then the 2nd tip the peptic ulcer is curable disease and a list of effective medications are available but the important part lies upon you stop smoking if you are and avoid spicy salted food and fast foods which are high in fat content and trigger your stomach to secrete more acid and burden the gastric mucosa also eat 4 to 5 times a day but Little amount avoid strong analgesics and alcohol do not sleep or set in reclining position just after eating liquorice the eastern drink could help you if you are not hypertensive hope you will Be fine soon

u should go to the doctor

The only way to know if you have an ulcer is to have a test done. Either a scope that auctually looks into your stomach or a blood test to see if you have antibodies to the ulcer causing bacteria. Ulcers are caused by bacteria that eat sores into your stomach lining and they can heal by themselves, but they will heal a lot faster and you will risk a lot less problems if you go to a doctor and get antibiotics and stomach acid controller.

Good luck!
