Fatigue, weight loss, anaemia, pelvic pain & dizzyness 18mths later still no diagnosis!!!??? |
Ok 18mths ago i had a severe chest infection which finally disappeared after 4 different antibiotics. However since then I have been crippled by fatigue, dizzyness, & horrific pelvic pain (not in the actual pelvic bone - feels more muscular ) & lumbar region. I have seen various dr's & all have a diff opinion - GP is convinced pelvic pain is just child birth trauma (my daughter is 3), a rheumotologist i saw said I am displaying red flag symtoms but as im only 28 he doesnt feel he needs to scan for anything sinister at this stage & wants to watch n wait, I then saw a neurologist as the pelvic pain was causing my legs to weaken & lose co-ordination. MRI scan of head ruled out MS & i was discharged. Blood count keeps falling below 9 so am on iron tablets - GP always says if the next blood test shows amaemia again he'll refer me to a blood specialist except next time never comes! My mum died 4mth ago of pelvic cancer & my dad the yr b4 of kidney cancer so am obviousy worried. Any ideas? Doctors make them listen to you. Ask for a female doctor I find them more compasion. Sound like you are having kidney problems and bladder. But if you had so many different kinds of antibiotics it should have cure that. Go in for a psp test if you have cancer there it would show itself. please change doctors or stay persistent. have you been checked for lymes disease-one of the most often missed/misdiagnosed diseases ever.... |
