Pelvic examination under NHS?

Hi Everyone. I need to go for a pelvic examination, i.e the complete examination of my reproductive organs etc. This is because my periods come every month, but are irregular varying from 28 to 35 days. Furthermore, I sometimes experience abdominal pains etc.
I am 20 years of Age. I just want to find out if I could get a pelvic examination under the NHS? Another enquiry I have is, is regards whether I am too young to have one. Thanks.

Yes you can have it under the NHS and No you are not too young to have it.
Make an appointment with your GP and take it from there.
Take care

No, you're not too young... in fact you should have had one at 18 if you hadn't been sexually active before then.

Periods that are 28 to 35 days apart are quite normal.

What's NHS???

I don't know what NHS is but you are certainly not too young to get an anual exam. You should have actually started getting them after you got your first period.

Hi, you can get a pelvic examination (external and internal) from your local GP. Just make a normal appointment and ask for a chaperone to be present if you feel uncomfortable with just your doc. Pain is common around ovulation so you might not have anything to worry about. If the doc suspects something then he/she will refer you to the hospital for more tests like an ultrasound and a pelvic examination from a consultant. This is all on the NHS. You are not too young. Have you had a smear test yet? if not ask for one if your sexually active.
