Abdominal/pelvic pain after sex, what is it?

Last week my boyfriend and I had sex, and I began feeling pain in my pelvic area like cramps. It quickly got worse and it got so severe I could hardly sit up or walk. I went to the doctor the next morning and she did a pelvic exam and tested for an ectopic pregnancy, which was negative. She figured I either had a ruptured ovarian cyst or just had sex too deep. She told me if I didn't feel better the next day she would do an ultrasound. I was feeling better the next day, so no ultrasound. Well, me and my boyfriend had sex again last night and when I came home I had the same sort of pain again, just not so severe I couldn't walk. It doesn't hurt much now but I feel kinda nauseous. The past week I've also felt kinda constipated, whereas before then I was often having diarreah or close to it. My bf thinks I'm faking so we don't have to have sex. Should I go through with the ultrasound and/or get checked out by the dr. again?

i have this problem as well, though my husband is more understanding than your bf, my problem was endometriosis, pelvic pain during or after sex is one of the main complaints women with this disease complain about. Do you also have painful periods, or painful spotting? Also if you are on birthcontrol and are doing the spotting this is also a sign. The constipation and diarreah are also symptoms as well so i would definately go to the dr

This could be a really bad situation! You need to have the ultrasound done! This could also be a sign of an STD. Not to scare you or anything but I would have my OB do a complete testing. It could be that you are having very rough sex but I would not any chances with my health and prolong exposure to something that a few pills could possibly fix.

I wud go to the doc's huni..i had the same probably before and had a examination for a eptopic pregnancy to..mine came back negative...maybe you are having sex to deep..but my problem did stop after avin intercourse a few more times.x

probaly ovarian cysts rupturing while having sex. Had that for years!! Don't put up with it. Go to gyno and tell em to do something. Choices will be birth control (makes cysts shrink and kinda go away) If there real big they'll want to remove them surgically. No biggie. Had it done. Discomfort for about a week afterward. They can totally remove the problem ovary, too. You can still have kids if they leave the other ovary there. I would personally try the birth control first. The reason I chose surgery was because birth control gives me migraines.
