If you have ever had pelvic pain and went on the long quest to find out what it was...what did it end up being

I'm on my quest to find out where my pelvic pain is coming from. Had a transvag and abdominal u/s and it showed nothing. I've researched IBS but I don't have constipation or diarrhea. I don't have a vaginal infection or a urinary tract infection. I have a dull tooth ache type pain and sometimes it is more intense. Sometimes it starts on my left side but lately it's been right in the middle lower pelvic region. I'm on a quest to find out what is wrong with me. It's a scary quest but I want to know what's going on with me.

Do you have any stories or words of wisdom about what happened with you? What did you pelvic pain turn out to be? I'm 26 years old and I didn't think I'd be having to deal with this stuff so early.

wow, this is basically my story as well. I am pretty well convinced that it is endometriosis. All the symptoms are there.
painful periods
pain between periods
pain during intercourse
painful bowel movements/emptying of bladder
and the list goes on, but mainly Im just in pain. I feel it in my ovaries alot like a twisting/burning pain and in my back as well.
The only way to diagnose this is to have a laparoscopic procedure which is very expensive and I have a $5000 deductible, so it looks like I will be waiting for a while.
I would suggest having the surgery (after talking to your doc of course) if you have any of those symptoms as well.
there is really no cure for it, but there are options to try to manage the pain.
