Pelvic pain could i have a cyst on my ovaries? |
i have had a pain in my left side more in my pelvic area. i have been to the doctor but he runs test and nothing shows up. could i stilll have a cyst even though nothing shows up. Also it hurts more during my periods. The pain is always there and it feels like a big t-shirt bunched up Could be a cyst, they usually resolve themselves but sometimes you have to have surgery to remove them. If they rupture believe me you'll know, this hurts really bad.If I was you, I would insist that the doctor run more tests (ultrasound). Keep on him until you feel satisfied, if he doesn't want to help you find a new doctor. You should not be in pain all the time. I have had left side pelvic pain since Dec. 2005. My dr. done a ultrasound and found cyst and enlarged uterus. He put me on the birthcontol pill, he said in one week the pain should be gone. I hope he knows what he is talking about! Report It It feels worse during your period? That's how it was for my friend with endometriosis (sorry about the spelling). If your doctor isn't being helpful--just dismisses your pain as "cramps" for instance--find another doctor. |
