Pelvic Bone Hurts Me When Having Sex?

I am new to sex (as is my partner) and we are having some troubles. It seems every time I get on her for missionary and start, I get stabbed (bothered at least) by her pelvic bone sticking into me. It's really hampering our sex life.

Are we doing something wrong? What should we do?
