Neonatal and Pediatrics Question? |
-Is there such thing as a Neonatal Medical Assistant? You would work exclusively with newborns if you worked in the newborn nursery of a hospital. Both registered nurses and certified nurse assistants are needed in this department. If you applied at a Women's maternity hospital and designated that you wished to work in the nursery department, you would be assigned to the newborns. The only other professions I can think of would be physical therapy and nutrition, where you would specialize with newborns. Babies are great, aren't they? |
