Neonatal and Pediatrics Question?

-Is there such thing as a Neonatal Medical Assistant?

-Can you become a pediatrics medical assisant but JUST work with newborns?

-What other occupations involve working with newborns? Besides being a neonatal nurse, a daycare worker, or a pediactrics doctor or nurse.

PLEASE HELP ME OUT IF YOU CAN.

Thanks. =)

You would work exclusively with newborns if you worked in the newborn nursery of a hospital. Both registered nurses and certified nurse assistants are needed in this department. If you applied at a Women's maternity hospital and designated that you wished to work in the nursery department, you would be assigned to the newborns. The only other professions I can think of would be physical therapy and nutrition, where you would specialize with newborns. Babies are great, aren't they?
