How much does a pediatrics specialists make?

I think as with any profession, when they start out, they will start low, but as they become more advanced in their practice, and get more patients, their salaries go up. You are salaried if you are a hospital employee. Geographical location also has an impact as well.

Obviously pediatric specialists make more than a general practitioner but generally not as much as an adult practitioner of the same specialty.

pediatricians are the lowest paid physicians!! they max out at about 100,000. my friend just finished her residency in peds and her job offers are starting at 70k. but they get to be around kids all day.. the highest paying (aside from surgeons) are gastroenteroligist/colo-rectal... they are more in demand... not many people want to look at poopers all day.
