Currently on meds for sinuitis?

I'm currently taking Biaxin in liquid form (Pediatrics, seeing as I'm only 13). And I tend to get sinusitis a lot so my mom decided on taking me to my family doctor on the 24th of Nov so I can maybe see a specialist and have an allergy test done.
I think I may have some allergies, like pollen, grass, dust but nothing severe like a peanut or food allergy.

I'm feeling a lot better with the medication, but I'm just wondering what exactly happens during an allergy test? I have an appointment for feb 15 for the allergist but since we're going on nov 24 to my family doctor so I can maybe go to an allergist sooner and get a test.
Thanks.

Also not to mention I am asthmatic and I am taking Singulair 5 mg and Advair 250 for a week until my sinusitis clears up. And I first got the Biaxin from a walk-in clinic doctor if that helps.

this test is called a prick test, normally on your back. different liquids are placed into your skin such as dust, ragweed, mold, dog hair, cat hair.mildew ETC all positive ones will turn red and itchy.

Joe G is right about the kind of testing that is done to discover what you are allergic to. I would only add that it doesn't hurt.
You will probably have to stop taking the singulair a few days before your allergy tests so they can get accurate readings
