Looking for a doctor?

I don't know what's the difference between a GENERAL PRACTICE, PEDIATRICS, and FAMILY PRACTICE.

I want an exam, blood test and all that stuff.

Genral practice and family practice is the same ..Peds are 0-18yrs..but most see kids birth -12-15 yrs old..Go to a family practice MD

Go to a general Practioner , that is specialy "Your" doctor ! ...He or she will get all that done to you ...Exam , blood work etc. ! HOpe this helps ..good luck !

pediatrics is for under 18 years old..... you want a GP they can get you started in the right direction... if you have certain thought if a problem they can test for it or send you to the right person... but as far as a getting started place that where you should go.......

Better go to a good clinic, ask for a General or Family Physician, ask him to endorse you for a Physical Exam. He will then make recommendations for a physical exam, depends on what you want to test (cbc - blood test, urinalysis, stool exam, physical check up and xray) these are the standard inclusions to physical exam.

You will be directed to the laboratory to undergo those exams.
Come back for the results in 3-5 days (even less).

Some good clinics are found at the malls, such as Healthway, their clinic is not complicated, very decent and clean. The price is not expensive too.

Voila!
