Could I have a peanut allergy? |
I wonder because my throat feels swollen, and the only thing I ate today that I haven't eaten for a long time is peanuts. My brother had a very severe peanut allergy, couldn't even touch them. I wonder if that makes me more likely to have that allergy as well, and can people suddenly develop it as adults? I used to eat them all the time, but I stopped because I started finding them harder to digest. I'm having a bit of trouble breathing, like I have to breath more slowly to feel okay. Tiger balm is helping. No welts. I had trouble with my lymph glands in my throat before, especially after I had a bad reaction to the anti malaria drug Larium, but this is worse than it's been for months now. Hard to say, do you have trouble breathing too? Red welts on you facial or neck region? A lot of products have peanuts in them and by law have to specify it due to common allergies like your brothers. If you can afford it, go to an allergy specialist and get tested! |
