Peanut Allergy lunch options..? |
I have a 2 year old. Americas favorite sandwich is PB&J or PB & Bananas.. I need some ideas for lunch sandwiches for my girl that is severly allergic to Peanuts.. First, there are some non-peanut nut butters. They can use things like cashews, macademia, almonds, hazelnuts and soy. I remember a sunflower butter called Sunbutter that was pretty good and committed to being peanut-free. You will, of course, have to check and make sure that whatever you get has no peanuts and that your daughter is able to have those nuts/ingredients, but options do exist (and some taste better than I remember peanut butter tasting). |
