What's peanut allergy?

I know what it is but I heard there are six levels. If this is true, please tell me and what happens when someone reaches this level?

One of my teachers is a level three. The smell of peanuts can cut off his breathing!

I haven't heard of there being levels to this allergy. Either you are allergic to peanuts or not.

I dont know about the levels. But when I was tested by skin prick testing on Nov 13th,2006 the reaction resulted in 3+ positive for Peanut allergy, after never having a problem with them before. Anaphalactic shock is the most severe reaction and could cause death if no help is gotten asap. I have to carry epipens every time I go anywhere.

It is if you are alargic to peanut butter.

There are various levels to any allergy.

A mild allergy make only have a running nose or something insignificant happen.

A more moderate reaction may break out in a rash but nothing else.

An extreme reaction can cause swelling of the tongue and throat - leading to death if not treated quickly enough.

Reactions are not only triggered by eating peanuts but just touching the same surface as someone who has touched peanuts.
