What are some side affects of having a peanut allergy? |
just wondering Peanut butter allergies sometimes affect peoples' ability to spell words correctly. rash and death. death if you eat peanuts can't eat peanuts......that's prolly the biggest one. tongue itching, throat itching, tongue swelling, lips swelling, throat swelling, repiratory problems, death A mild allergy can cause hives and upset stomach. itching, hard to breath, rash, red spots. the side affect would the inability to breath upon ingesting peanuts. gastrointestinal, skin and respiratory symptoms My throat closes, and my lips tingle by that time I get to the ER ! I can think of two; skin rash and the most serious, wheezing & closing of your wind pipe. Death of course. Thats why children with peanut allergies should alway have an epipen (adrenaline shot) whit them. Their teacher or school nurse should have one available. Mom and day should alsway s carry one. Inform all of your childrens friends of the allergy. Even cooking oil with peanut oil can cause a life threateng emergency. Always ask at resturants if they use peanut oil. Most resturants, airlinesetc have banned the use of peants / oil altogether since the risk is to high now. It's the#1 food allergy. It depends on what level you have the allergy. Some people only break out. Others go into shock and need an epi pin right away. The worst and most severe is when someone just gets the oil on their skins or it gets into their system just by smelling the nuts. In this case their is little hope with out immediate medical help. You can have an allergy to peanuts and still be able to eat tree nuts. Peanuts are not a true not but a type of bean. They grow on a vine and tree nuts of course grows in trees. |

No. It would have to be a very severe allergy with full blown anaphalyxis before someone would even come close to dying. ...first thing stop itching it you will only encourage the reaction to get worse ... more scratchy...more itchy!!!!! next stop eating the peanuts.. if this is the only thing you have been having a lot... please avoid at all cost. don't take any chances here, at the end of the day it will be your health that will be affected ...They might get In Salted,first,,,,, ...YES, I am severly allergic to all nuts and please first tell her that when they say it may have something, it usually doesnt, its just made on the same equiptment, second she is not missing out.
