Is there a store or website that sells food for people with peanut allergies? |
Most processed food sold in grocery stores are made in facilities that process tree nuts or peanuts. Buying treats and good food for a 6 year old with a severe allergy to peanuts is difficult. Organic cooking is fine but occasionally we'd like to give the kid a treat. He loves cheese popcorn but its all processed in a facility that had peanuts in it. Are there stores or a website that specializes in peanut free food? I was able to eat Peanut Butter from the time I turned 3 years old until Aug 28th,2006, then I suddenly developed a peanut allergy, I do have Asthma and multiple other allergies to alot of other stuff, but I did a lot of reseasrch for what I could replace peanut butter with and I found SUN BUTTER. You can learn more about it and buy it at www.sunbutter.com or ask your local grocery store (mine is Wegmans,Ithaca, NY) if they can get it in or go to your local Organic Store ( Mine is Greenstar Co-op,Ithaca,NY).
