An allergy to peanuts??

my bf has a peanut allergy and i got chinese - eggrolls! then we kissed and he was all puffy and had difficulty breathing! he in ER right now and needs antihistamines or soemthing...

what did i do wronga???

Most chinese food is cooked with peanut oil. Just being in an atmosphere where peanut oil is in the air is enough to cause a serious reaction which is why airlines banned peanuts from their drinks trolleys many years ago.
A serious reaction like this needs serious management. You will need to avoid all peanut products yourself too. He may also be alllergic to other nuts, soya etc., found in most prepared foods. Avoid pre-prepared food and always check the ingredients. You will need to avoid chinese takeaway food altogether.

My best friend has this condition, its not that rare, like 1/100 people has it, he cant eat/smell/taste or be near penuts, its very causious, nd if he does his breathing system will be missed up and will huff and puff

the chinese restaurant uses peanut oil to cook their egg rolls.

I have a peanut allergy and before I do anything with anyone I have to make sure they haven't eatten any peanut butter or else the same thing happens to me as your bf.
