What kind of chocolate candy is safe to buy for peanut allergies? |
I have to buy candy for school and in the class is a child with peanut allergies the teacher wants chocolate whats safe i am also a nut sufferers, as well as wheat and egg!! Mars has those big "peanut free" symbols on it now, well it does here anyway, try that. anything with no penuts You need to read the labels carefully. Some are so allergic that traces of peanuts will cause a problem. My advise is to get peanut/ nut free chocolate for the class except for the child with the peanut allergy. This child should provide his own food because of the dangers- can cause anaphalytic shock and death. My son also suffers from food allergies and I provide all food/drinks/snacks for him. get a big bag of snickers and pass those around, watch what happens as the kid breaks out in hives. M&M plain chocolate or Hershey's dark chocolate kisses. The only chocolate I eat is: Ghiradelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Bar. It's a good bar to eat, and contains no peanuts or traces of it. But it does contain "Tree Nut and Milk" traces. |
