Suggest 3 ways in which understanding diversity can help promote the rights of patients/service users?

Diversity ois a core component of clincial governance within the NHS therfore if you search out this on the Dept of Health website yopuw ill finds the answers.
Namely;
1. Individualisation of the servcie user
2. Allow aorganiusatiosn to develop servcies which best meet the needs of their client groups
3. Allow servcie users to assit in defining / redefining servcie delivery as per Clinical Governance standards

This sounds like your KSF portfolio. No. I don't understand it either.

hi there
i am an nvq assessor for health and social care, mainly in domiciliary care. What I advise my candidates is to think along the lines of their service user may be a cross dresser, that is diverse, but they still have that right. Therefore they have to understand his/her needs to enable them to promote his/her rights.
They may like to live in a house that is not so clean, something we would not live in, but providing they are of sound mind, and this is how they choose to live, that is their choice. Hope that help, good luck with your nvq
