Im only 20 is it menopause?

before everyone says dont be stupid, im not.

i had my daughter 7 months ago before her i had 6 miscarriages and my periods went back to regular until now ive not had a period for 2 months and ive tested and im getting negative tests ut i was talking to my mum about it the other day (we are very close) and she asked me a few questions and joked its the menopause dont worry. ut when i said omg i read that its rare but not impossible for someone my age to go through it do you think i am? she said possibly.

I feel like i have flu muscle aches and hot flushes etc and feel sick (nauseus) which is why i done a pregnancy test.

i was diagnosed with PND and was given tables but im not on them any more and havent been for some time so i dont think they are interferring and i dont think its stress as i feel fine. But my Gp is on paternity leave and will be for some time and i dont like the others drs in the clinic (personal reasons)

what do you think? thanks

PND-post natal depression

i personally think the amount of miscarriages you have had have affected your hormones i am also very sorry about the loss of your unborn children it must of been devastating
really menopause is unbelievable rare not in possible but rare the amount of pregnancy's etc will have no baring on any of that you must take a blood test when your GP is back and she will tell you if your suspicions are correct (although i really do not think they are)

if that is a real picture of you heidi you are very beautiful

Get a medical opinion and blood test for your hormone levels. Its very unusual to have such an early menopause but entirly possible...;

You really should go to the DR or call NHS Direct, early menopause is really rare though

see a dr

Maybe you should chack with a doctor. It is weird for a lady your age to go through menopause. But go to a doctor to make sure everything is alright. Good luck.

I think you need to see a gyn doc. You should not be going through menopause at 20 years old. I wonder, could this be another miscarriage? Better get the doc's opinion on this one.

ut ? PND ??
Sounds like you have had a lot of gyn problems in your short life.
Talk to your doctor.

it could be something to do with you losing blood from before, as you had miscarriages? all i would say is wait till your doc is back, no point going to some next doc who you dont trust. get some check up done, im sure it cant be menopause.

You won't know without the doctors tests. There was a girl on TV last week who was aged 11 who'd gone through it and was mis-diagnosed for a while.

I doubt it it may just be hormones.

its not unusual for young people to go through menopause at your age. my friends sister was in her twenties and had her daughter and her periods quit. she has not had anymore children and no more periods. sometimes you have to be put on birth control to regulate your periods. the doctor can give you a shot to start the menstral cycle again. but its best to see your doctor and find out what is wrong.sometimes fibroids or cysts on the ovaries can cause you to be nauseas and not have a period.

You seem to have some sort of low grade infection some where. Could be mastitis or a uterine infection. Either way you need to go to your GP asap as the only way to get rid is with anti biotics.

So get an appointment with your GP even if your not keen on the ones in the practise as this low grade infection could become serious.

i think stress and also the PND may have something to do with your period. and also from time to time our periods get messed up, others became irregular after giving birth. and i don't think it's menopause, because we can have early menopause when we get to atleast more than 35 years old (that's when you got your menstruation at a very young age) don't worry too much. sometimes we don't know that we are stressed because we are feeling fine. also visit your doctor when he's already in or try other doctors even in other clinics.

You really need to see a doctor or a specialist nurse.

You've had seven pregnancies and you're only 20 .... wow. Perhaps you body feels a bit 'out of balance'. I'm so sorry about the miscarriages, it must have been devastating. It must be difficult to have a gorgeous baby and yet also have to cope with the memory of all those deaths. You must allow yourself time to sort out these feelings; don't be too hard on yourself. No-one should have to go through this, it's not surprising you've found it hard.

I'm no expert, but it doesn't sound like the menopause to me, more like stress or hormone problems. These are symptoms of stress, as well as the menopause. You need a lady doctor who knows her stuff - she will be more sympathetic, able to understand, and therefore more helpful. I had lots of questions (about the menopause!) and only got straight answers when I found the right doctor. Is there another clinic you could go to?

With a seven-month old child you shouldn't be worrying about whether or not you're pregnant - get yourself some contraception until you're ready for another baby. Very best wishes to you my sweet.

if you have a low grade infection, you need to get checked. this could lead to something serious. my ex went through and she developed chlamydia and is no impotent. don't take chances and be safe. do you have a boyfriend.

u are going through menopause
