Lateral tracking patella? |
So, a while ago i was diagnosed with lateral tracking patella. is it possible to go away or will i be stuck with this? There is a chance it could be improved with physical therapy. It would be worth a try. The lateral tracking itself can lead to some other joint problems in time. They could also do what is called a 'lateral release' of the ligaments of the patella, to allow it to return to a more normal position. Check with your doctor to see what kind of help you can get. If the pain is around the front of the patella and knee, then it usually doesn't require surgery. Physical therapy, and home exercises are necessary. |
