My patella ( knee cap) is fractured. will heal my knee cap? can i run fast ? |
my right patella was fractured on 20. 06. 2006. after operation TBW put up around my knee cap., TBW is still there. i am taking medicines such as osteofos 70 ( sodium alendronate tablets) and adtrol plus tablets( calcium, calcitriol methylcobalamin and vitaminscapsules ) if you are able or allowed to do sure why not. But i'd ask the dr and wait for the break to heal. It is not a good fracture to have as healing is difficult due to the opposing pull of the muscles. It always requires operative treatment. Once the knee is hurt like yours, it's over. Just be grateful you can still walk,if you must run, go slow, unless your'e running from 5-0.Haul tail... Once your knee cap is healed you should be able to resume normal activities. You should find out from you doctor if your bone is completely healed. operation may be considered |
